What You’ll Do: Residential and Commercial Plumbing Work

  • Diagnose plumbing problems and explain practical repair or installation options.
  • Complete assigned residential and commercial plumbing work in accordance with applicable codes and safety practices.
  • Document findings, completed work, materials, and useful follow-up information.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and field leadership.
  • Protect the property, maintain an organized work area, and leave the jobsite clean.
  • Review assigned work, confirm site conditions, and coordinate needed materials before beginning.
  • Inspect the surrounding plumbing system for conditions that could affect the repair or installation.
  • Test completed work and confirm the system is operating properly before closing the job.
  • Explain the completed work, relevant care information, and practical next steps to the customer.
  • Recognize when conditions require added approval or support and involve field leadership before the scope changes.
