Start your Nashville HVAC request

Step 1 of 2

Send a request and our team will follow up. An appointment is confirmed only after we agree on a date and time.

Start with the problem

What's going on with your system?

You shouldn't have to diagnose an HVAC problem before asking for help. Choose the situation closest to yours.

For rental owners & property managers

HVAC support for the properties you manage.

Need HVAC help at a rental property in Nashville? Include the address, what the resident has noticed, and who to contact. Before a visit, confirm who will provide access and who can approve the work.

For several properties, include the addresses and the type of maintenance or repair help you need.

A repair at one property

Share what the resident noticed, whether the property is occupied, and who should be contacted about the visit.

Maintenance for several properties

List the properties and equipment, if you know it. Before booking, confirm what each maintenance visit includes.

Planning repairs or replacement

Keep past repair records and get a written estimate so the owner can compare the cost of a repair with replacement.

Comparing your options

Look at the work needed, not just the age.

If you're considering a repair

Ask what failed, what the repair will fix, what it costs, and what it won't address. Discuss what happens if the same problem returns.

If you're considering replacement

Ask why the recommended system is the right size for your home, what installation includes, and what the full price covers.

Managing a rental? Share the diagnosis and written estimate with the owner before approving the work.

Repair or replacement

Find out what's wrong before choosing a new system.

A room that won't cool down doesn't automatically mean you need a new system. Start with the cause, the condition of the equipment, and what a repair can reasonably solve.

  • Start with the findings

Ask what failed and how the technician confirmed it.

  • Understand the repair

Find out what the repair will fix, what it costs, and whether any problems would remain.

  • Know what you're approving

Get the total price, including the visit charge, before agreeing to the work.

What happens next

Before you book a service visit.

Before booking, ask how the visit will work. You should know what is being checked, what needs your approval, and what information to keep afterward.

1

Before the visit

Confirm that your address and equipment are covered, what the visit costs, and who will let the technician in.

2

Understand the cause

Ask what was found, how it was checked, and whether anything needs more testing.

3

Approve the work

Understand the repair and price before agreeing. For a rental property, make sure the right person can approve it.

4

Keep the details

Keep the invoice and repair notes, including anything that still needs attention.

Nashville home comfort

Summer cooling. Winter heating.

Does the upstairs stay hot in summer? Does the house struggle to warm up on cold mornings? Tell us when it happens and whether the thermostat shows a message.

Summer heat & indoor humidity

If the upstairs stays warm or the house feels clammy, note which rooms are affected and the time of day. Also mention if the thermostat reaches its setting but the house still feels damp.

Furnaces, heat pumps & cold spells

If you know whether you have a furnace or heat pump, include that with your request. Mention any thermostat messages and whether the house reaches the temperature you've set.

Spring cooling checks. Fall heat checks.

Plan cooling maintenance before summer and heating maintenance before winter. Between visits, inspect filters and follow the manufacturer's replacement guidance for your system and household.

Repairs, costs & scheduling

Tell the technician what's happening and when it started. Before agreeing to a repair, ask what caused the problem, how it was checked, and what the repair will cost. If the cause isn't clear yet, ask what still needs testing.

Ask what the inspection costs and whether that charge counts toward a repair when arranging your visit. Get the repair price and a description of the work before you agree to it.

Ask what failed, what a repair would address, and what it would leave unresolved. Compare the cost with the equipment's condition and repair history; age alone isn't a reason to replace it. Ask how a recurring problem would be handled and get any warranty terms in writing.

Include your address and system type with your request so our team can confirm whether we can help. If your equipment serves several units or sits on a commercial building's roof, mention that too. Sending a request doesn't confirm service or book an appointment.

Rental properties & maintenance

Choose 'Service for a property I manage' to send a request for one address. Include the unit or work-order number if you have one. For several properties, choose 'Ongoing help with my properties.' Our team will contact you to discuss the details before arranging service.

Before arranging a visit, name the person handling access and the person who can approve repairs. Agree on a spending limit and how any extra work will be approved. Ask who will contact the resident and when you'll receive an update.

Ask for the diagnosis, approved work, and completed repairs in writing, with the property address and unit number. Keep the invoice and any photos, test results, or follow-up recommendations so you can update the owner and resident.

Choose 'Ongoing help with my properties' and describe the buildings, locations, and work you need. Nothing has to be broken to ask about maintenance. Before hiring a contractor, confirm which equipment they service and ask for any licensing, insurance, or W-9 documents you require.

Heating & cooling in Nashville

The AC may reach the temperature you've set before it removes enough moisture. Note which rooms feel damp and whether the AC keeps starting and stopping. A technician may need to check airflow, system sizing, thermostat settings, and where moisture could be getting in before recommending a repair or new equipment.

It can, but how well it heats depends on the model, its size, how much heat your home loses, and whether it has backup heat. If you're buying a system, ask how it will keep your home warm on cold days. If your current heat pump can't reach the temperature you've set, have the cause checked before deciding it needs replacing.

In cold, damp weather, frost can form on the outdoor coil. The heat pump runs a defrost cycle to clear it, which can produce a brief cloud of steam. If ice stays on the unit, it keeps going into defrost, or the house isn't staying warm, have it checked. Those changes shouldn't be dismissed as normal defrost.
